Job Description:
Compuscan, an African Continent credit bureau providing credit risk information and technology solutions is seeking to appoint a Business Development Consultant in Maputo, Mozambique to market its solutions to all small and medium sized businesses that have a need for data and software solutions that can assist in reducing credit risk. The successful candidate will be required to travel across Mozambique.

Key Requirements:
Degree
Mozambique citizen
Own reliable car and a valid driver’s license.
Excellent communicator – verbal and written.
Fully bilingual in Portuguese and English.
Able to demonstrate superior sales skills and related proficiencies
3-5 years’ experience in customer management, new business development, as well as sales and marketing to SMME’s.
Experience in the following industries will be advantageous; Financial; Software Solutions, IT solutions; Insurance; Banking; Risk; Data Driven Solution Providers; Point of Sale (POS)
Candidate must be prepared to travel 2-3 weeks per month locally by road (approx. 2000 km’s/month) and at least 2-3 times per annum to South Africa for training, and head office meetings.

Key Performance Areas:

Develop and manage the marketing and sales pipeline of new and existing prospects through cold calling and customer management selling.
Aggressively drive market share growth and revenue to generate and maintain the growth curve of Compuscan.
Identify areas where Compuscan has the opportunity to cross and up sell.
Create awareness of the company products and how to utilise them correctly.
Assist with user-based trainings on successful completion of a sale.
Ensure superior customer service is offered at all times to all clients.
Promptly identify and resolve problems that directly impact the client / company relationship.
Contribute to accurate sales forecasts; achieve and exceed set targets and objectives through the successful implementation of core and value added solutions.
Administration including regular reporting.
